Tossing unfinished projects gives me a huge sense of accomplishment.

It's kind of liberating, really, to take a project that's been on the "I really should" shelf for ages, and just fling it right out the window (or Windows, in this case, since it's somewhat computer related - haw). So, I've deleted the other four blogspot pages I wasn't writing in anyways (wedding, new man, fresh start, and pre-first year school), and have to decided to use this one - partly because I still like the plain design of it (and clearly remember wasting HOURS trying to re-build something through this awkward system), and partly because I really, really like the title - and that was a lot of work!!

And so, after scratching yet another item off my to-do list (it's amazing how the list shrinks when you just throw things away!), I shall endeavour to write somewhat more often than I have in the past.

In case this stands as a long-term journal, here are the facts of my current life:

Two-and-a-half months ago, married William James "Billy Behave" Pryor, my teen-years crush and long-time friend. He has recently left a 16-year career of truck driving to give other equipment a try - currently running a butt'n'top loader with a logging operation that has given him a great opportunity to do all of the different things that can be done on such a machine. He's enjoying himself, and looks to have a good boss and a great crew.

Two-and-a-half weeks ago, started the third stretch of schooling for my Electrical apprenticeship - ten weeks at CNC in PG, living in the dorm, speeding home for weekends with family and friends. We've been getting a fair bit of camping done, in spite of school, and don't plan to quit any time soon.

At this time, our family includes dogs Cricket (10ish) and Rizzo (5ish), and brand-new rats Poly (white) and Grizz (black). We've talked about a snake, but have decided to wait until we are rat-free again, to avoid complications.

We are both decidedly lazy when it comes to unpleasant tasks, but with mutual support and encouragement (and happy celebration when we triumph), we are starting to get things handled, both financially and physically. There are still several debts to pay, and several storage areas to sort and projects to begin or complete, but we WILL get them all handled, eventually.

Even if I have to shorten the list by tossing something else!
